A butterfly valve is designed as a fluid inlet/outlet. It can be installed on top of a tank or tanker as top discharge provision, or at the bottom as part of a bottom outlet. Different sizes are available ranging from ND50 to ND100. Butterfly valves are either clamped, flanged or have a BSP threaded outlet.
